Adding backgrounds & elements for your clients

Modified on Tue, 18 Aug 2020 at 01:50 PM

If you would like to provide custom graphics collections for your clients, you may create collections of up to 100 images to available to them in their page editor. Note that you can turn off the MementoPix collections should you only wish to offer your custom collection.

Content provided to your customers must be commercially distributable. Your company must have full rights to distribute the graphics collections uploaded to Memento Yearbook - be they in-house produced original material, content for which you purchased a commercial redistribution license or files that are in the public domain.

Each publisher account may create up to five albums of 100 images for free. To purchase additional albums, download the order form from the Manage License section of your dashboard.

Adding content to albums

Click on Backgrounds & Elements on the left-side menu. If you have not made a collection yet, click on the Add Album button.

Specify the collection name.

Next, specify if the album will contain backgrounds (jpg files) or elements (png files - clipart, photos, decorative items).

Last, you may publish the album immediately, or wait until you've added images to it. Click on Add Album when the setup is complete.

Once an album has been created, the Background & Elements section will update. Additional albums may be added by clicking on the top right Add New Album button.

Adding images to albums

To upload images into an album, hover over the album then click on View Album.
Use jpg files for backgrounds, and png files for elements that require transparency.

Click on Upload photos to add images.

Navigate to the folder on your computer containing your graphics, and select up to 200 images to upload. Select then open them to start the upload. The files will quickly start appearing in the album.

Once images have been uploaded, file management tools will become available. Select one or more images, or all images, to move them to a new album, delete them, or download them to your local computer.

Should you need to rename the files, click on the file name to update it.

To navigate back to the album collections, click on the < next to the album name.

Managing Albums

Albums will display a sample image, their publication status, and the number of images in them.

Album settings may be edited - click the Settings button under an album to edit its name and publication status.

To permanently remove an album and its content, click on Delete.

!!Deleted albums and their content are not recoverable - so be careful when deleting them!!
